Every sample pack sold on Grainstash comes with one of the licenses below. When you buy a pack,
the exact terms you receive are saved with your order and delivered as a LICENSE.txt file inside your download, so your rights never change even if the seller later edits the pack.
In short
- Use the sounds in unlimited commercial and non-commercial productions and keep 100% of your masters and publishing.
- Don't resell, give away, or repackage the raw samples on their own — the rights are for your productions, not for redistributing the sounds.

Use these sounds in unlimited commercial and non-commercial productions and keep 100% of your masters and publishing. You can’t resell, give away, or repackage the raw samples. Non-exclusive and non-transferable.
What you can do
- Use the sounds in unlimited commercial and non-commercial productions (songs, instrumentals, soundtracks, etc.).
- Keep 100% of the master and publishing rights in the songs you make.
- Distribute and monetize your finished productions on any platform (streaming, downloads, sync, live, social media).
- Edit, chop, pitch, time-stretch, and process the sounds inside your own productions.
What you can't do
- Resell, redistribute, lease, or give away the raw samples on their own.
- Repackage the sounds into another sample pack, sound library, preset pack, or construction kit.
- Upload the raw sounds as standalone files to streaming, sample sites, or stock-audio libraries.
- Transfer or sublicense this license to anyone else.
Grainstash Exclusive License v1.0
ExclusiveEverything in the standard license, plus exclusivity: a one-time sale where the pack is removed from the store and the sounds are licensed only to you. You still can’t resell or repackage the raw samples.
What you can do
- Use the sounds in unlimited commercial and non-commercial productions (songs, instrumentals, soundtracks, etc.).
- Keep 100% of the master and publishing rights in the songs you make.
- Distribute and monetize your finished productions on any platform (streaming, downloads, sync, live, social media).
- Edit, chop, pitch, time-stretch, and process the sounds inside your own productions.
- Use the sounds exclusively — once you buy, the seller takes the pack off sale and won’t license these sounds to anyone else.
What you can't do
- Resell, redistribute, lease, or give away the raw samples on their own.
- Repackage the sounds into another sample pack, sound library, preset pack, or construction kit.
- Upload the raw sounds as standalone files to streaming, sample sites, or stock-audio libraries.

One-time, exclusive sale
When you buy an exclusive license, the seller removes the pack from sale and won't license those sounds to anyone else. You receive the sole right to use them under this license. The underlying copyright stays with the seller unless you agree otherwise in writing.
